Invitation Dear experts, professors, colleagues and friends: The forum is held with aim as follows: 1. To set up a broad platform for collaboration and exchange in China and abroad to enhance the development in rehabilitation field. 2. To display the up to date research in rehabilitation field in China and abroad. To exchange each other about the new theory, technology, methods and ideas to face new situation & challenge together and promote the development rehabilitation course. 3. To facilitate rehabilitation technology with viewing and emulating. The tenet of this forum is exchange, collaboration and meeting new challenge. Established in 1988, China Rehabilitation Research Center£¨CRRC£©with most experts, optimal rehabilitation model, methods and procedure, is by now the earliest and biggest modern comprehensive rehabilitation organization including Beijing Bo Ai Hospital, the only first grade hospital with characteristic of rehabilitation in China. As a state-owned organization directly affiliated to China Disabled Persons Federation, CRRC is responsible for rehabilitation therapy, education & training, scientific research, information, engineering and instruction for community based rehabilitation in China. It also works as a technical resource in rehabilitation field and a demonstrating window of all-around rehabilitation, human rights affairs and international collaboration & exchange in our country. Long-term friendly relationships of collaboration & exchange between CRRC and many famous rehabilitation organizations and associations abroad have been established. The yearly Beijing International Rehabilitation Forum held in CRRC, Beijing is to make use of the resource center and demonstrating window to set up a platform for collaboration and exchange, which is also the historical mission of CRRC. With holding Beijing International Rehabilitation Forum, We expect that the collaboration in rehabilitation field in China and abroad could be enhanced. Also we hope that with corporate effort a research fund, which is designed especially for collaboration in rehabilitation field, could be established to support the development of international collaborative projects and form the big family in international rehabilitation field. Meanwhile we are planning to select 1-3 experts through public appraisal during each forum from now, which are outstanding in their professions in both China and abroad, with honor and prize. Finally, on behalf of the Organizing Committee of the forum and staff of CRRC, I warmly welcome all of you to 2nd Beijing International Rehabilitation Forum and join the big family for collaboration in international rehabilitation field. Let¡¯s hand in hand to contribute and promote development of rehabilitation course in both China and abroad.
